(1) suffer, permit (a thing or an act), 190, 192, 194, 6331, etc. ; with do of the person or agent permitted, 2195, 4427, -29. (2) bear with (a person), 6329.  (3) endure (pain, etc.), 2772, 3397, 3417, 5286, etc. vn. fulang. Note fulang ré, 4488, When a syllable is added we get syncopated forms like fuilngim (6329), fhuilngeas (5286), etc. ; but, exceptionally, gur fhuloingeas, 5249. In the pret. 3 sg. we have fhulaing, 1127, 1435, 1540, 4927, 5162, 6109, -13, etc. ; but, exceptionally, fhuiling, 6244. See Note on 6345.
