I win, merit seek, etc. (The uses of this verb are closely analagous to those of tuaraimtúirim (Léamh eds.: presumably tuairim, is meant here) , by which it has apparently been influenced). nár thúir a ghruaidh do ghoradh, who did not merit being put to shame, 331. v.n. túr, gs. túir, 'productive', etc., 597 (See Aithdiogh.
