Gs. -íle, ds. íl, IGT 165; here as if a masc. noun le cuigēal (v.l. coigeol), 3408; cruaidhchuigēal (MSS. readings -chugail, -chuigeol, -cuigeal) rimes with Oirghiall, 3421, suggesting a diphthongised pronunciation of the vowel of the last syllable.
