wax ; ds. ciaraigh, 2590. [IGT, p. 95, have céir, gs. céire, ciara, ciarach ; as ads. ciaraigh is noted as faulty, exx. 1163, 1175. TC, 34, has cēir, gs. cíera (= ciara), ds. ciaraigh. Cf.  121.  céir, BH, 140, Eochairsgiath, 121. In W. Muns. the gs. ciarach survives in cuinneal chiarach (cf. Begly, 657b) ; otherwise a new gs. ceurach is used.]
